Quantocks MTB is a trail guide for mountain biking on the Quantock Hills AONB in Somerset. The hills punch hard for their size: committing woodland drops, sandy ridge connectors that keep flowing when the combes are wet, and open tops with Channel views.
This is natural riding — roots, cambers, and shape you have to read — not a purpose-built park. Use the interactive map to pick MTB sections by grade, then open a trail for onboard video and elevation before you clip in.
Featured Quantock Hills trail sections
- Ladys Edge A committing edge-line that shows how steep and rooty the Quantocks can get — open it for video before you drop in.
- Bin Combe Steep combe riding under the canopy — natural cambers, roots, and shape you have to read at speed.
- Weacombe Combe A classic Quantock combe descent linking the ridge toward the Holford valley — flow with bite.
- Smiths Combe Rooty singletrack that rewards precise line choice — typical Quantocks natural trail character.
- Black Hill to Holford A longer link from the open tops down toward Holford — useful when building a bigger Quantock Hills loop.
